The Maude Kerns Art presents the 23rd annual Art for All Seasons Membership Exhibit and Club Mud Ceramics Holiday Show & Sale, opening on Friday, November 20 and on display through Friday, December 18. Maude Kerns Art Center’s Art for All Seasons Exhibit offers a perfect opportunity to purchase original paintings, drawings, prints, photography, sculpture, and ceramic pieces for the holidays!
The public is invited to the Opening Reception on Friday, November 20, from 6 – 8 pm. Many of the exhibiting artists will be present at the reception. Refreshments and Territorial Vineyard wine will be served.
Art for All Seasons features work in a variety of mediums by over one hundred of the Center’s artist members, including functional and decorative ceramics and sculpture created by members of the Center’s onsite ceramics studio. Among the many artists exhibiting are well-known local artist Sarkis Antikajian, who shows a still life titled Turkish & Starbucks as well as a figurative painting completed in the Art Center’s Figure Painting Open Studio; ceramic artist and Club Mud member Sandy Brown, known for her brightly colored, highly textured, handmade, slab-built porcelain and kitchenware; and painter Diane L Farquhar, who displays two abstract pieces that reflect her process of developing an image from an initial idea or question that is clarified as the painting progresses.
